A new tourist app has been launched in Bangkok by Go City, which allows travellers to visit several attractions for the price of one.
Go City, a London-based company, invested around US$35m (R544m) in preparation for the resumption of international travel post-pandemic, to help operators digitalise their ticketing services, according to Thaiger.
Go City calls itself the world’s largest multi-attraction pass provider. Bangkok is one of its new locations, along with Tokyo, Seoul and Kuala Lumpur. It says it has already launched apps in Singapore and Hong Kong. Other locations include Amsterdam, London, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Dubai, Madrid, Miami, New York, Paris and Rome.
The “Go City” App offers travellers two options, an All-Inclusive Pass or an Explorer Pass. The former gives a two- to five-day pass, allowing visits to an unlimited number of attractions. Prices start from ฿2 999 (R1 356) up to ฿5 999 (R2 713), depending on the number of days.
The Explorer Pass offers a choice of three to seven attractions, valid for 60 days. Prices start from ฿1 899 (R859) up to ฿4 499 (R2 034).
The 26 listed attractions in Bangkok include the King Power Mahanakhon Skywalk, Chinatown Food Tour, Chao Phraya River Dinner Cruise, Safari World, Tuk Tuk Night Tours.
