TNW pick of the week: Afriqiyah announces route expansion

AFRIQIYAH Airways plans to expand its routes from South Africa with increased frequencies to Amsterdam.

The increased schedule to Amsterdam will commence on January 1, 2011:

Tuesday and Saturday
Depart Johannesburg 21h30, arrive Tripoli 06h20
Depart Tripoli 08h15, arrive Amsterdam 11h05

Monday and Friday

Depart Amsterdam 12h05, arrive Tripoli 16h55
Depart Tripoli 19h30, arrive Johannesburg 04h20
Afriqiyah will also increase its frequency between Tripoli and Cairo, adding a sixth flight from October 31.
