Trafalgar adds new US, Canada itineraries

Trafalgar has released its suite of 2020 USA and Canada itineraries, including 12 new trips.

The brand will introduce Active itineraries next year, which will feature walking or hiking on most days, with guests being able to choose trails based on fitness levels. State Explorer trips will give guests a deeper look at destinations, including Hawaii and California.

Trafalgar will also introduce a new concept for its City Explorer trips to San Francisco and New York. Guests can choose from included ‘Daily Choice’ options, to tailor days with selected excursions suited to their preference.

Other new trips include the Scenic Wonders of Newfoundland, Labrador and Ile Saint Pierre, which includes a visit to a scallop farm.

Some trips have been designed specifically with off-season travel in mind, helping travellers experience the destination with fewer crowds and minimal traffic during autumn, winter and spring.

Trafalgar has introduced trips to help immerse travellers in Native American history, including the new Southwest Native Trails, which will see guests visit the Canyon de Chelly National Monument and the existing Scenic Parks Explorer, which introduces travellers to Stephen Yellowhawk, who is keeping tradition alive through song and dance.

The new Great Trans-Canadian Journey will include a visit to a winery for a tasting and a farm-to-fork meal.
