TRAVEL Counsellors is
extending its operations
to Belgium. The new
operations will be headed by
Travel Counsellors Netherlands
gm, Fred van Ejik, and will be
supported by the group’s head
ofce in Hague.
Md, Steve Byrne says the
addition will bring value to
TCs across the world. “This
expansion will hugely benet
our existing agents in South
Africa and across the globe
as we continue to build on our
global buying power and local
knowledge, while enabling us
to re-invest in supporting them
even further. It also enhances
the 24/7 support we are able
to offer agents, so there is
always someone available
to assist them in all areas
of their business, which has
proved invaluable for them out
of ofce hours.”
He reveals that three agents
have already been recruited in
Belgium and that the aim is to
recruit another 20 by the end
of the year.
With operations up by 20%,
the highest number of recruits
brought on board in 20 years,
and record sales targets
achieved, 2013 was a bumper
year for Travel Counsellors.
The group now has 1 300
professionals across the UK,
Ireland, The Netherlands,
South Africa, Australia, Canada
and Dubai.
