Travelinfo Treasure Hunt concludes after six weeks of learning and prizes

The Travelinfo Treasure Hunt has concluded after six weeks of daily challenges, with three travel agents celebrating wins in the final draws.

Congratulations to: 

  • Kenya Airways Treasure Hunt (Two economy tickets to Mombasa): Jolene Stapelberg - Agri Technovation
  • Weekly Participation Prize (R1 000): Sarah Thom - Club travel
  • Grand Participation Prize (R5 000): Jacqui Mendes - Travel Beyond

The R5 000 grand participation prize recognised agents who took part in at least 90% of the daily Treasure Hunts throughout the campaign. Launched alongside the new Travelinfo platform, the Treasure Hunt encouraged agents to explore supplier pages, and the Agents Only section while answering daily questions. The campaign gave agents the opportunity to discover useful products, services and industry information available on the platform, while becoming familiar with the redesigned website. "The Treasure Hunt was about much more than prizes," said Anton Marsh, Managing Director of Now Media. "It encouraged agents to explore Travelinfo, discover suppliers and make greater use of the trusted information available to support them in serving their clients." Marsh thanked the supplier partners who sponsored the prizes and the thousands of travel agents who participated throughout the campaign. "We are grateful to all our sponsors for making the Treasure Hunt possible, and to every travel agent who took part. The response has been incredibly positive, and we hope the campaign has helped agents discover even more value in Travelinfo as their trusted industry resource."
