The Visa4UK site is expected to be up and running by 20h00 on November 28 after site maintenance meant that no online UK visa applications could be submitted.
Regional operations manager for Southern Africa at the British High Commission in Pretoria says: “The Visa4UK website is undergoing essential maintenance until 18h00GMT (20h00) this evening. We hope that the site will return to normal afterwards but if that is not the case, further updates will be posted on the website.”
He adds: “Our visa application centres are aware of this and in emergency situations can provide further advice to our customers.”
The site, which cannot be accessed worldwide, says: “The website is currently offline for maintenance, please try again later.”
