United Airlines has introduced its new aircraft livery.
The first aircraft painted with the new design is a Boeing 737-800, which will be joined by a mix of narrow, wide-body and regional aircraft throughout the year.
Three shades of blue are used and the airline’s globe logo will be updated. United’s name will be larger and the slogan ‘Connecting people. Uniting the world’ will be painted near the door.
The airline’s new colour palette can also be seen in the new uniforms for more than 70 000 front-line employees.
