United Airlines has opened its new Polaris lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The lounge is available to all United Polaris business-class passengers – the airline’s premium cabin travel option.

The Polaris lounge is located in Terminal 7 between Gates 73 and 75A. It faces west and offers views of the sunset over the city. The design is Southern California style throughout and draws on the region’s influence for food and beverage options. There is seating for 140 people, and 272 power outlets and 120 USB ports are available. Other facilities include shower suites featuring rainfall showerheads, and private daybeds.

United recently completed a multimillion-dollar upgrade of LAX’s Terminal 7 that now includes a road to help passengers avoid the horseshoe road around the terminals.
