Effective October 29, United Airlines will transfer one of its US-Johannesburg flights to its Cape Town schedule.
United’s daily flights between Johannesburg and Newark will be reduced to six weekly flights.
This frequency will be added to its Cape Town routes, which will include four weekly Cape Town-Newark services and three weekly Cape Town-Washington DC flights.
United first applied for flexibility on its Johannesburg and Cape Town routes to address shifting seasonal demand in February, as reported by Travel News.
