Universal Destinations and Experiences will open its first-ever regional theme park specifically designed for children, on July 1 in Texas.
Universal Kids Resort will feature:
- Shrek’s Swamp: Meet Shrek and Fiona, enjoy the Shrek’s Swamp Splash and Smash water attraction and experience the Happily Ogre After ride.
- SpongeBob SquarePants’ Bikini Bottom: Meet SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy in Bikini Bottom and explore locations from the show, including Mussel Beach and Jellyfish Fields. Children can put their boating skills to the test at Mrs Puff’s Boating School.
- Jurassic World Adventure Camp: Meet baby dinosaurs, enjoy exciting rides, climb the lookout towers for a Pteranodon’s eye view of the park and meet a baby Raptor.
The park also features immersive worlds inspired by Minions, Puss in Boots and Trolls.
The Universal Kids Resort Hotel will be located at the entrance to the park. The colourful hotel features 300 rooms and family suites, an expansive dining menu, an outdoor pool and other family-friendly amenities.
