UR to acquire new Boeings

Uganda Airlines has signed an agreement with Boeing for eight new passenger aircraft as part of its fleet expansion plans.

The aircraft, each with a capacity of 294 passengers, will increase the airline’s capacity to serve regional, continental and international markets, contributing to the long-term growth strategy.

Uganda Airlines is expected to make an initial payment of more than UGX460 billion (R2,2 billion) towards the project.
