Due to the ongoing peak travel season, VFS Global has warned customers that it has been seeing high volumes of visa applications across most regions around the globe, including South Africa.
Due to a surge in applications, some applicants may have experienced a delayed response on the appointment booking modules, VFS Global says.
For those facing an issue with booking an appointment, VFS Global advises applicants to contact call centre numbers listed on the country-specific website (via www.vfsglobal.com) for assistance. Applicants can also write to customercare@vfsglobal.com or check with a nearby Visa Application Centre on alternatives.
VFS Global has also warned customers to be aware of touts who falsely promise to make appointment bookings in exchange for payment, and urge applicants to contact VFS directly for support.
