A glass pedestrian bridge named Bach Long (White Dragon) opened on April 30 in the Moc Chau Island Mountain Park and Resort, Vietnam. With a total length of 632m, it is the longest bridge of its kind in the world, according to Voice of Vietnam.

The Bach Long traverses thick jungle, but in case walking 150m above the jungle is not enough of a heart-stopping thrill, “9D technology” is installed, meaning there is an integrated lighting and sound system with 60 unique simulated experiences that are said to enhance the trip, according to New Civil Engineer.

The bridge has two 30m-high towers and the deck system is made of three thick layers of super-tempered glass. The height of the deck from the ground is 150m. There is a maximum limit of 450 people on the bridge at a time.

The price for a weekend crossing is VND650 000 (R452) for adults and VND450 000 (R313) for kids, with reduced fees for weekday walks.
