Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines are to increase flights between the US and UK from next year.
From March 29, Delta will increase its services to three daily flights, introducing a daytime flight for the first time. Virgin Atlantic will increase frequencies from Heathrow to the US west coast, upping the Seattle service from seven to 11 a week. Los Angeles will see the number of weekly flights increase to 17, up from 14.
Delta will add its seventh transatlantic destination from Boston when it adds Gatwick from May 22, with Virgin launching JFK-Gatwick on May 21.
