Waldorf Astoria has reopened its iconic New York hotel following eight years of renovations.
Guests can now book stays at Waldorf Astoria New York in reimagined guest rooms and suites. The hotel’s transformation saw the 1 400-room property reduced to 375 guest rooms and 372 residences. The Waldorf Astoria New York now offers some of the largest guest rooms and suites in Manhattan, with 11 different categories.
Reservations are also open for the hotel’s three food and beverage experiences: the signature brasserie Lex Yard, the New-Yorker favourite Peacock Alley, and the Japanese dining concept, Yoshoku.
The hotel’s meetings and events spaces also reopened, including the Grand Ballroom and Basildon, Jade and Astor Rooms.
The restoration saw the preservation of the hotel’s iconic murals and artworks dating from the 19th century.
