Aviators Africa is organising a pan-African project themed ‘Walk for Love’ – an advocacy campaign that will see leaders in the aviation, tourism and hospitality sectors across Africa leading a march.
Walk for Love takes place this Valentine season to make a statement, telling the world that Africa needs to be shown love and not discrimination.
The walk will see stakeholders walk for 2km in branded shirts and caps at the same time in different African countries, with flags representing each country included.
Those wishing to join virtually can register online. South Africa’s walk will take place at 09h00 on Saturday, February 12, in the grounds of Indaba Hotel in Fourways.
Over 15 countries around Africa are taking part. In addition, South African artist Vicky Sampson will launch her new song in support of Walk for Love, live from the V&A Waterfront.
