Delta Air Lines will resume its South Africa services on December 14 with an initial three frequencies a week on the route Atlanta-Johannesburg-Cape Town. Travel News journalist, Sarah Robertson, talks to the airline’s director of sales for Africa, Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent, Jimmy Eichelgruen, about Delta’s decision to relaunch services to SA during December and about the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on global travel demand.
