Windstar Cruises is launching a new offering in partnership with Pacific Beachcomber that will allow guests to visit The Brando. The private island eco-resort is in French Polynesia’s Tetiʻaroa atoll and was originally owned by Marlon Brando.
The resort has 35 private villas, white-sand beaches and an eight-kilometre lagoon, reports travelpulse.com.
The collaboration will offer Windstar’s Star Breeze guests a two-night stay at The Brando’s Owner, Broadmoor and Sea Island suites from May 1. The resort offers daily excursions, spa treatments and beach activities.
After sailing around French Polynesia on the Star Breeze, guests will disembark in Papeete, then board a light aircraft for the 20-minute flight to The Brando.
Rates for The Brando island experience start from US$6 900 (R130 600) per person based on double occupancy. Windstar Cruises is represented by Cruises International in the South African market.
