Air France offers new inflight menu

From January to March, Air France will serve new gourmet creations in Air France’s Business Class cabins.

Dishes will be renewed every fortnight and is available on board long-haul flights on departure from Paris as well as Algiers, Amman, Athens, Bucharest, Casablanca, Catania, Yerevan, Kiev, Marrakech, Moscow, Oran, Rabat, Stockholm, Sofia, St Petersburg, Tel Aviv, Tunis and Warsaw.

Starting in April, Air France, in partnership with FAUCHON, will offer the new A la Carte Menu that includes a starter, a main dish, cheese and dessert, on all long-haul flights.

The menu is offered as an alternative to the regular inflight menu. Premium Economy and Economy passengers can choose from six A la Carte Menus, including five on departure from Paris and three on departure from the French overseas departments, USA, Canada, Africa and Asia, for €28 (R441) VAT inclusive, or 8 500 Flying Blue Miles.

From April to September, passengers will enjoy scallops with citrus fruits and red onion pickle for starters; guinea fowl fillet and rosemary juice with a carrot, coconut and coriander purée for the main dish; with trio of pistachio, raspberry and lemon macaroons for dessert.

From October to March 2020, cream of artichoke accompanied by a creamy herb, chicken and foie gras sauce will be served for starters; pan-fried scallops in a citrus fruit sauce and bulgur wheat with spices will be served as the main meal with caramel éclair for dessert.
