According to meteorological forecasts, a tropical depression is expected to affect Mauritius weather conditions later this week, particularly on Thursday, February 22, and Friday, February 23.

In light of this, Air Mauritius issued a statement on Monday, February 19, advising that it would permit a free change of flights for travel booked until the end of March.

The airline has also made an urgent appeal to its passengers to provide their cellphone numbers to ensure they can be kept updated on the situation.
