Air travel round-up: AF adds La Première on SFO flights

Air France has rolled out its new La Première cabin on flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and San Francisco International Airport on selected Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The daily flights with the new cabin are:

  • AF084: departing Paris at 10h20 and arriving in San Francisco at 12h50 the same day;
  • AF083: departing San Francisco at 15h05 and arriving in Paris at 10h55 the next day.

The four suites stretch over five windows and feature an armchair and a chaise-longue that can be transformed into a bed.

On departure from San Francisco, La Première customers are greeted by Air France staff in a dedicated check-in area and have access to a private area in the Air France lounge. At the time of boarding, they are personally accompanied to the aircraft.

HND to expand terminal

Tokyo’s Haneda Airport has unveiled a new facility with six boarding gates ahead of its opening in September.

According to Kyodo News, the North Satellite Facility of Terminal 1 marks the first large-scale expansion since the terminal's launch in September 1993.

The new facility features a lounge, a children’s area and self-driving vehicles for moving around the terminal.
