Delta will launch daily seasonal flights between Austin and Paris-Charles de Gaulle from March 27, 2027.
The new route will be Austin’s first nonstop service to Paris and will make Delta the only US airline offering nonstop flights between Austin and Europe.
Flights will operate daily during the Northern summer season, using an Airbus A330-900neo, featuring Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main.
Together, Delta, Air France and KLM will offer up to 10 weekly nonstop flights between Austin and Europe during the peak summer season, serving Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam. From Paris, customers can connect to destinations across Europe, India and Africa on Air France.
TK resumes Cuba flights
Turkish Airlines will resume flights to Cuba on October 25, restoring the direct service between Istanbul and Havana after it was suspended earlier this year.
The flights to Cuba were stopped in March, citing fuel shortages and weaker travel demand. Fuel supplies from Venezuela ended after the US military operation in that country earlier this year, which disrupted oil shipments to Cuba.
Turkish Airlines currently serves Havana with a stop in Panama, where passengers transfer to another airline. From October, the airline will operate direct flights on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
