Airlink will operate its new E195-E2 on its four-weekly Johannesburg-Lilongwe flights, increasing capacity on the route by almost 40%.
The E195-E2 has 136 seats, compared with the 98-seat E190, providing an additional 304 seats on the route per week.
"The E195-E2 performs best in sectors longer than two hours. The added capacity and reduced seat costs will strengthen our position on that route,” said de Villiers Engelbrecht, CEO of Airlink.
