AMADEUS has entered into a

partnership with the National

Department of Tourism to

develop the tourism industry.

As a supplier to SAA, which

is a state-owned entity,

Amadeus is required to

reinvest in the country.

Svend Leirvaag, vp Industry

Affairs, Amadeus IT Group,

said: “At the very core of

everything we do at Amadeus,

is a commitment to the

transformational, sustainable

and inclusive growth of global

travel and tourism.

This reinvestment will see

the formation of a National

Tourism Visitor Information

System and a new Travel and

Tourism Training Academy.
