Avis Point 2 Point re-enters market

10 Oct 2024

Avis has announced the re-entry into the market of its successful and trusted transfer service, Point 2 Point (P2P).

As the preferred transfer service for thousands of business and private customers for nearly 17 years, P2P makes its return, dedicated to bringing back safe, efficient, reliable, and comfortable transportation solutions.

“Due to the unprecedented nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to take a strategic pause in our services. The pandemic thrust the entire industry into a period of reflection and innovation. We are pleased to re-enter the market, ready to redefine personalised travel. Avis P2P re-emerges ready to drive service excellence for our customers, unparalleled reliability, convenience and safety,” said Litha Nkombisa, Chief Sales Executive at Zeda Limited.

Avis P2P’s transportation offering is safe and dependable, including economy (e.g., Volkswagen Polo Sedan or similar) and MPV (e.g., Volkswagen Kombi or similar – Multi Passenger Vehicle) vehicles.

“We pride ourselves on our customer-friendly offering tailored to our customers' needs. Whether you are a frequent business traveller needing reliable transportation, or a parent juggling the delicate balance of school pick-ups, Avis P2P has the transport solution for you,” added Nkombisa.

Safety remains Avis P2P's top priority. As such, chauffeurs are carefully screened and undergo comprehensive training to ensure the safe transfer of passengers to and from their destinations.

Furthermore, chauffeurs have been trained in chauffeur etiquette, MasterDrive, Advanced driving, First Aid, Basic Fire, and other chauffeur-related training.

P2P will initially operate in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. More cities will be added in due course.

Nkombisa concluded: “We are excited and raring to go. P2P is taking to South Africa’s roads again and ensuring peace of mind for our clients, getting them where they need to go safely and efficiently.”

With years of experience in the industry, P2P remains committed to providing excellent customer service and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Its chauffeurs maintain the highest standards of professionalism, punctuality, discretion, and local knowledge to navigate the best routes.
