Bengaluru unveils airport ambulance service

Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru has launched an Indoor Ambulance Service to provide medical emergency response at the airport, as reported by Centre for Aviation (CAPA).

The service will provide 24/7 emergency medical service by medical technicians in both terminals and will use battery-operated ambulances equipped with oxygen cylinders and other essential equipment.

The ambulance will enable faster medical care before moving the patient safely and securely to Aster Hospital for further care.
