Travel operator, Globehunters has compiled a list of 45 of the most popular nudist beach destinations around the world to help holidaymakers find the best spots for their ‘nakations’.
Out of an overall score of 100, the country’s beaches have been ranked according to their average sunshine hours; summer UV score, LGBTQ+ and danger index; safety index score and average Airbnb daily rate.
According to the Globehunters list, the best beach for safety is Red Beach in Akrotiri, Greece; for temperature is Hippie Hollow in Austin, USA and Ocho Rios in Jaimaica; for the LGBTQ+ community is Agesta in Sweden and for accommodation costs is Cayo Largo in Cuba. Hout Bay in Cape Town, South Africa was ranked 44.
The best nudist destination on the list is Playa de Bolonia in Cádiz, Spain, with an overall score of 75.79.
