Boeing partners with emerging Asia-Pacific airlines

Five emerging Asia-Pacific airlines have signed an agreement with Boeing for digital solutions meant to streamline operations and limit costs.

The agreements were put in place to allow for each airline’s growth in the industry and to improve overall operations.

Vistara, an Indian-based joint venture between Tata group and Singapore Airlines, signed a five-year agreement to receive Jeppesen crew rostering and Boeing alertness model tools. These tools will provide real-time fleet and crew data to enhance maintenance capabilities.

Air Tahiti Nui signed up for multiyear access to Boeing’s aircraft health management for its B787 fleet. Several Boeing digital solutions will also be integrated into Bamboo Airways’ B787 fleet.

Sichuan Airlines will use Boeing solutions to optimise routes and flight plans and Virgin Australia signed a seven-year agreement for electronic flight bag and digital navigation chart services to increase operational efficiency.
