Bond tours cover London

Imagine Experiences, a London tour operator, has introduced immersive and experiential James Bond tours.

According to Imagine Experiences, travellers want authentic and entertaining tours that align with their particular interests and which correspond with much-loved popular movies and series filmed in parts of the city.

Imagine Experiences offers three ‘Hero’ adventure tours that allow travellers to walk in the footsteps of James Bond and his creator Ian Fleming. This includes the 3,5-hour ‘Essential Bond – Nobody Does It Better’ tour, the six-hour ‘Bond for a day’ tour and the six-hour ‘Bond for a day and Speedboat’ tour.

The ‘Essential Bond’ tour takes travellers to the sites where iconic scenes from the Bond movies were filmed. On walking tours through St James, Whitehall and Mayfair, they get some insights into Bond’s favourite cars, the Bond tailor, Ian Fleming’s preferred perfume store and then for a Vesper Martini at a bar frequented by Ian Fleming and Winston Churchill, known as ‘The House of Spies’.

The ‘Bond for a day’ tour includes a session at a select London gun club, where guests test their weapons skills, followed by a tour through the high-end retail centre, St James.

The ‘Bond for a day and Speedboat’ tour adds a thrilling speedboat-ride down the River Thames.

The tour operator has a similar James Bond tour in Scotland that allows travellers to drive from Edinburgh to Glencoe in an Aston Martin, while being given directions by an AI Money Penny.

Some of the other tours to be launched later this year include a ‘City of Spies’ tour, a ‘Spill the Tea: 500 Years of Royal Scandal’ tour, an ‘Unveiling London's Private Gentlemen's Clubs: Behind the Hallowed Doors’ and a guided tour of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein Museum.
