COMPAGNIE Africaine
d’Aviation (CAA) has
ceased flights between
Johannesburg and
Lubumbashi in the
Democratic Republic of
the Congo.
“CAA will not resume
JNB-FBM flights due to
being unable to obtain
the necessary approvals
in the DRC,” said
Rod Murphy, commercial
projects manager for CAA.
South African Airways
is now the only airline
flying to Lubumbashi from
South Africa.
Rod said CAA would
continue to operate
domestic flights in the
DRC that could be booked
through the GDS and
ticketed through BSP.
