AS the completion of the permanent facility Emerald Safari Resort & Casino in the North West Province town of Vanderbijlpark - scheduled for opening in June 2001 - draws near, comes the announcement that two key management positions have been filled.
Andrew Butler-Rees has been appointed as hotel general manager and Samuel Ndlovu as hotel manager.
Butler-Rees has worked for a number of well-known hotel groups, including Cresta Hotels, Southern Sun, Karos and more recently, as general manager of the Cullinan Hotel and Executive Suites in Sandton, Johannesburg.
Ndlovu in turn has worked for Southern Sun, spent years travelling abroad and worked in his family business before joining London Club International's Emerald Safari Resort.
