Complete City Lodge portfolio now on GDS

23 Jul 2019
Comments | 0

ROAD Lodge, a brand

in the City Lodge

Hotel Group, is now

bookable on the Travelport

and Amadeus GDSs, while

the Sabre listings will be

completed soon.

This adds 22 Road

Lodges, totalling 2 059

rooms, and makes the

full City Lodge portfolio

of over 7 000 rooms

bookable on both GDSs.

There is no change to

the payment process:

Road Lodges still have to

be prepaid or settled by

guests on arrival.

Zuki Jantjies, divisional

director of sales and

marketing at CLHG, said

that paying commissions

was an important part of

the group’s relationship

with the travel industry.

The group pays Iataregistered agents and

TMCs 10% commission

on bookings for all CLHG

brands – Fairview Hotel,

Courtyard Hotel, City

Lodge Hotel, Town Lodge

and Road Lodge.
