Contiki’s 2018/2019 brochure features three updated trip itineraries – The Big Tiki, The Kiwiana Panorama, and the ‘Sweet As’ South.
The Big Tiki is a 19-day trip across New Zealand, starting in Auckland and ending at Lake Ohau, visiting Wellington, Christchurch and other destinations along the way. Travellers can also choose a 17-day option, which will start and end in either Auckland or Queenstown, respectively.
The Kiwiana Panorama is a 16-day trip also starting in Auckland and ending at Lake Ohau, with a similar alternative start/end option available: a 14-day trip starting or ending in either Auckland or Queenstown, respectively.
The ‘Sweet As’ South is a nine-day trip starting and ending in Christchurch. A 10-day option is available which will start and end in Wellington.
The operator is also packaging a new hotel: Jucy Snooze, in Queenstown. The hotel lets travellers sleep in self-contained pods, with free WiFi, and a rooftop bar and café, among other amenities.
There are also three new ‘No Regrets’ inclusions for New Zealand: the Milford Sound Cruise, the Southern Country Farm Experience, and a wine and craft beer tasting in Queenstown, which are optional and included in the tour price.
