The Crocworld Conservation Centre near Scottburgh on the Sapphire Coast of southern KwaZulu-Natal has launched a new zipline and aerial obstacle course.

Jikaleza Outdoor Adventures gives visitors a chance to swing through the trees of the aerial adventure park.

Said Romy Wenzel, Chairperson of Sapphire Coast Tourism: “This is a great way to get out and enjoy the Sapphire Coast’s natural environment, experience a bit of a workout, and get the heart rate up while having fun!”

Busani Mthiyane, Crocworld Conservation Centre Animal Curator, said it gave visitors yet another reason to visit the area. “Jikaleza Outdoor Adventures is one of the region’s only zipline adventures and is definitely one to try… Visitors will get to experience the ultimate rush of ziplining with aerial obstacles in the coastal forest at Crocworld, overlooking our unique wildlife and the great views.”

The Jikaleza Outdoor Adventure has two courses – the Kulula Course and the Impi Course, both for ages seven and above. There is a height restriction of 1,3m and a weight restriction of 120kg. The course is completely safe for all users due to the Coudou Pro system from Italy, which complies with European Union standards. There are also plans to build a junior course.
