Doha introduces family security lanes

Hamad International Airport in Doha has introduced dedicated family screening lanes for passengers travelling with young children.

Designated play areas have already been rolled out throughout the airport, and this is the latest initiative to improve the experience of passengers with children.

The dedicated family lanes are designed to significantly reduce waiting times and enhance travel experiences. They are currently being tested in the airport’s transfer screening area, and if the trials are successful, the lanes will be expanded to other security points throughout the airport.

Hamad International Airport is recognised for its commitment to family-friendly travel and has various facilities specifically designed to accommodate travellers with children.

The airport has said it will collect customer feedback and suggestions on improving the dedicated lanes.
