Dubai Fountain, the world’s largest performing fountain, will close in May for five months to undergo upgrades and routine maintenance.

Emaar Properties said the temporary closure would ensure that the fountain continued to deliver its synchronised water, music and light performances.

The upgrades will include advanced technology, improved choreography, and an enhanced sound and lighting system, to create a more immersive show.
