Eiffel Tower introduces online group bookings

Effective September 29, the Eiffel Tower will require all groups of more than nine people to book their entrance tickets online in advance.

According to the Eiffel Tower website, the measure is intended to reduce long queues at ticket counters, improve security and crowd control, provide a smoother visitor experience and encourage better trip planning.

The website recommends that groups book tickets at least two to four weeks in advance and arrive at least 20 to 30 minutes before their allocated time slot.

The Eiffel Tower warned that tickets are subject to availability and sell out quickly during peak seasons and busy periods.

“This new rule might seem restrictive at first, but it’s designed to improve the overall visitor experience. By moving group bookings online, the Eiffel Tower is making visits more organised and less stressful,” said the official website.
