Emirates has extended its ban on flights to South Africa, and they will now remain suspended until February 12, “in line with recent government directives”. This is the second extension to the ban which was originally set to end on January 28.
For information on the processes for agents to follow in order to help their clients, see EK’s pages in Travelinfo.
Agents are reminded by the airline that passengers who have been in South Africa or who have connected via South Africa in the last 14 days are still not allowed to enter the UAE, whether terminating or connecting onwards.
