El Al launches new Economy classes

The new model for purchasing economy-class tickets allows customers to fly at attractive fares, choosing the flight packages that best suit their needs and paying accordingly.

Ticket sales from South Africa based on the new model will apply to departures on/after April 1,2019.

EL AL will now offer LITE, CLASSIC & FLEX tickets.

LITE TICKET – includes a personal item, one piece of hand baggage (8kg) and a hot meal. Passengers can choose to pay for checked baggage/seat selection. Most restrictive penalties apply.

CLASSIC TICKET – includes a personal item, one piece of hand baggage (8kg), one piece of checked baggage (23kg) a hot meal, the option of advance seating booking. Slightly relaxed penalties apply.

FLEX TICKET – includes a wide range of services: two pieces of checked baggage (23kg each), two pieces of hand baggage (12kg total), boarding with a personal item and a hot meal. Free expanded seating possibilities and priority boarding. Changes at no charge/Cancellation at no cost in the higher classes, in the lower classes, a reduced penalty.
