Emirates changes baggage dimensions

EMIRATES will change the
required dimensions for
checked baggage from next
month.
For tickets issued on
or after November 15,
individual baggage items
with total dimensions
exceeding 300cm cannot
be transported as checked
baggage and must be sent
as freight. For tickets issued
prior to November 15, items
with total dimensions of
300cm and up to 400cm
will still be accepted.
If the free baggage
allowance is exceeded,
normal excess charges
apply.
In economy class, the
baggage allowance is 30kg,
in business class, 40kg, and
in first class, 50kg. Emirates
Skywards Platinum, Gold or
Silver members are entitled
to additional allowances.
