Emirates to operate third daily Gatwick service

24 Aug 2022
Comments | 0

Emirates will again offer a temporary third daily flight between Gatwick and Dubai between October 15 and 29.

The carrier operated the route during late July and early August and has now reinstated the service for the second half of October to coincide with the school half-term break.

Using a wide-body Boeing 777, flight EK11 will depart Dubai at 02h40 and arrive in Gatwick at 07h10. The return flight, EK12 will depart Gatwick at 09h30 and arrive in Dubai at 19h30.

Emirates currently offers nine daily flights to London – a double-daily A380 service to Gatwick, six flights to Heathrow and one to Stansted.

The extra Gatwick flight is to accommodate passengers affected by Heathrow’s cap of 100 000 departing passengers per day.
