Emirates will introduce an additional three weekly flights from Cape Town to Dubai, effective April 20.
This will increase Emirates’ Cape Town operation from seven to 10 weekly flights, bringing the schedule close to pre-disruption levels.
The new flights, EK772 and EK773 will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, on the following schedule:
- EK772 will depart Dubai at 03h45 and arrive in Cape Town at 11h30.
- EK773 will depart Cape Town at 13h15 and arrive in Dubai at 00h35, the following day.
The additional services would provide much-needed capacity and support demand recovery from Cape Town, the airline said in a trade notice.
