Etihad Airways will introduce the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on its daily service from Abu Dhabi to Chengdu, replacing the Airbus A330-200 currently operating the route. It will also begin servicing its Abu Dhabi to Shanghai route with the larger B787-10 Dreamliner, starting July 1.
The 299-seat B787-9 service to Chengdu will feature 28 Business Studios and 271 Economy Smart seats.
The 336-seat B787-10 service to Shanghai will feature 32 Business Studios and 304 Economy Smart seats.
Flights will operate daily during summer the timetable and three times weekly during the winter timetable. The flight schedule is as follows:
