Eurowings Discover, in partnership with Bushtracks Africa, earlier this month hosted a familiarisation trip for some of its Namibian travel agents and tour operators to promote regional tourism between Namibia and Zimbabwe.

The trip began in Windhoek on May 5, where the agents flew with Eurowings Discover to Victoria Falls. Here they were welcomed by the Bushtracks Africa ground staff and transported to the Pioneers Lodge for the first night and to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for the second.

The two-day itinerary included hotel visits and site inspections, a Bushtracks Express Dinner Steam Train Safari, a tour of the Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side, a Premium River Cruise on the Zambezi River, and a Boma Dinner and Drum Show.

Remember, the airline has fifth-freedom rights, which enable travellers to purchase tickets on the regional tag flight between Windhoek and Victoria Falls. The flights are operated three times a week year-round on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays with an Airbus A330 aircraft, offering economy, premium economy, and business class.

Departure from Windhoek is 09h15 and arrival in Victoria Falls at 11h15. The return flight departs Victoria Falls at 15h05 and arrives in Windhoek at 17h15.

Guests on board the Eurowings Discover flight for the Fam Trip. From back to front- Julia Mhopyeni, Rennies BCD Travel Namibia, Emile Hart, Gondwana Collection Namibia, Toini Shikongo, Trip Travel, Elmarie van Rensburg, African Wanderer Tours & Safaris, Iris Piehl, Expert Travel, Gaby Sobotta, XL The Travel Professionals, and Ursula Moths, Meme Africa Travel.
