Explora Journeys has unveiled its 2027-2028 Journeys Collection, which includes inaugural voyages through Asia and the debut of Explora V.
From September 2027 to May 2028, Explora will sail close to 100 journeys visiting 59 countries and nearly 200 destinations.
Explora III will embark on the cruise line’s first Asia voyages. The ship will visit 47 destinations across Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.
Itineraries will include overnight stays in Tokyo, Osaka, Naha, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Ha Long Bay, Ho Chi Minh City and Bali, and will coincide with major cultural events, such as Chinese Golden Week in Shanghai and Chinese New Year celebrations in January 2028.
Other highlights include:
- The launch of Explora V in December 2027, with voyages in the Mediterranean visiting 27 destinations across nine countries. A highlight will be New Year’s Eve in Naples.
- Explora V will join Explora I in the Red Sea and Arabian Peninsula, offering itineraries through Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain.
- Explora II and Explora IV will sail the Caribbean, Central America and South America, visiting 51 destinations, including maiden calls at Port Antonio, Jamaica. Both ships will celebrate New Year’s Eve off the coast of San Juan.
