Flight Centre Travel Group Independent (FCTGI) has announced that it would hold its first-ever global conference in Santiago, Chile, from May 1-4. The conference convenes independent travel agents from South Africa, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the US. They will have access to themed country days, a supplier expo, plenary sessions and various events throughout the conference.
“There is so much that the travel entrepreneurs in our network can gain from connecting with their peers in other nations. Having one conference for all markets also opens new opportunities for our valued supplier partners. Our team are hard at work planning an exceptional programme, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Santiago in 2024,” said Danielle Galloway, Global Managing Director, FCTG Independent and Luxury Divisions.
In November, FCTG Independent will reward its top 10 agents from around the world, including South Africa, with its ‘Independent Icons’ trip. The experience will see them sail from Budapest to Vienna on a Uniworld charter river cruise.
