Four Seasons to launch new private jet

Four Seasons is adding another private jet to its fleet in 2021 to replace the current one-- which premièred in 2015 – for extravagant group excursions.

The new Airbus A321LR aircraft will allow up to 48 travellers to book bespoke adventures around the world, with Four Seasons arranging the trip itinerary and accommodation at each stop.

One of the new aircraft’s key features is a lounge area, including a full bar staffed with a mixologist. A series of artisans, including Four Seasons chefs, mixologists, and wellness experts, will showcase their work in interactive workshops.

The custom-made seats will be upholstered with leather from Italian producer Poltrona Frau and will be paired with personal ottomans. Each seat will also be equipped with an individual iPad.

Bookings for 2021 will open in the middle of this year and will vary based on itinerary, which will be announced later this year. Pricing on the current jet starts at US$147 000 (R2m) per person.
