Since November 1, travellers flying with Malaysia Airlines have been able to enjoy a completely connected experience with free uncapped WiFi.
“We are delighted to extend our complimentary WiFi offering to passengers across all travel classes, making us one of the first airlines to enable such convenience,” said Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, CEO of Airlines from Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG).
The airline’s complimentary in-flight WiFi offering was initially launched on July 1 for its Enrich Platinum members and Business Suite and business-class passengers, and capped at 100MB per sector. The MHconnect network will allow passengers across all cabin classes of its A350-900, A330-300 and A330-200 aircraft to enjoy the airline’s free in-flight WiFi.
“Unlike previous data capping, we now offer unlimited data, allowing guests to conveniently stay connected throughout their journey – whether connecting with their loved ones or for work purposes throughout their journey with us. We remain dedicated to ensuring that every aspect of our service is designed to make our customers’ journey as seamless, hassle-free and enjoyable as possible, and will continue to invest in initiatives that will greatly benefit their experience on board Malaysian hospitality,” said Azmi.
The service is still currently being rolled out and is only available on 20 of the airline’s wide-body aircraft. It will be offered across narrow-body aircraft in phases.
