G Adventures grows The Geluxe Collection

After the successful launch of The Geluxe Collection in November last year, G Adventures has extended the collection to 17 new destinations, including Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Iceland, Ireland, India, Kenya, Portugal, Spain, Tanzania and Turkey, among others.

From chimp trekking in Tanzania and visiting the vineyards of the Douro Valley in Portugal to hiking through ancient cities in Turkey and visiting glaciers and lava fields in Iceland, G Adventures has added a new list of immersive experiences to its itineraries.

G Adventures has said that The Geluxe Collection is its most successful product launch to date, and interest from more travellers over 40 and women travelling solo suggests there was a niche in the market that wasn’t being fulfilled, according to Yves Marceau, VP of Product.

“We’re also seeing a lot of couples looking to connect with other like-minded travellers,” he said.

G Adventures is represented by Development Promotions in the South African market.
