Holland America Line (HAL) has rerouted its 2025 Grand World Voyage itinerary to avoid the Red Sea region due to the uncertain security situation.
The last 43 days of Zuiderdam’s 124-day 2025 Grand World Voyage have been changed.
The revised itinerary will now include visits to Cape Town, Walvis Bay, and Praia in Cape Verde before sailing to the Mediterranean. It will also call at Valletta, Tangier, Arrecife and Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Alicante, Olbia, and Kusadasi.
“For the safety of our guests and crew, we have made the decision to avoid the Red Sea after close consultation with global security experts and government authorities,” said Beth Bodensteiner, HAL’s Chief Commercial Officer.
“Making this change now allows us to provide certainty for our guests.”
